Pakistan and Bangladesh Flood Emergency
£30 - Towards Flood Relief
When Disaster Struck… The Land Drowned!
In Pakistan, a violent cloudburst tore the sky apart, unleashing a relentless downpour that ripped through homes and villages.
In Bangladesh, devastating floods swallowed entire communities, leaving nothing but wreckage and broken memories above the waterline.
In both countries, lives, homes, crops, and livestock were swept away in seconds. Families are now left clinging to survival itself, stranded in dangerous waters with nowhere to turn.
Everything familiar is gone — possessions, livelihoods, the promise of a safe tomorrow. What remains is fear, uncertainty, and a desperate hope that help will come.
This is more than a catastrophe. It is the destruction of safety, dignity, and the future itself.
But tomorrow is not lost — not if we act now.
On the Ground: The Toll No One Can Ignore
The devastation unfolding is not just another headline or statistic — it represents real families who have lost almost everything in the unimaginable.
🇵🇰 Pakistan
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), over 660 lives have already been lost nationwide, and the number continues to rise.
More than 935 people are injured, while rescue teams are still searching for those unaccounted for.
Entire villages have been destroyed. Thousands of families remain displaced and stranded — and with every day that passes, the toll grows heavier.
🇧🇩 Bangladesh
In 2024, severe flooding left over 5 million people affected and displaced more than half a million.
Just as communities began the long road to recovery, fresh flooding in 2025 struck again — swallowing everything in its path and forcing families back into danger.
Now, millions face prolonged instability, trapped in a vicious cycle of hunger, displacement, and disease, with no clear path back to safety.
