Some key examples of the factors which affect the health and well being of underdeveloped nations are Malnutrition, Malaria, HIV as well as waterborne diseases such as Cholera and Typhoid.

For those already suffering from poverty, war and crisis, ill health can have a detrimental effect on their lives and livelihoods pushing them and future generations to come deeper in to the cycle of poverty.
